Madison Polymeric Engineering has over 40 years of experience in custom packaging and design, engineering and manufacturing, and die cutting foam, all located in a 175,000 square foot facility in Branford, CT. We can design packaging to protect any product in today’s very harsh transportation environment. It’s very important for brands to know that if selling through fulfillment companies that it the brand’s responsibility to have the proper packaging to protect their product throughout the shipping cycle.
Our design services also include 3-dimensional CAD service for medical positioner part, applicator part, and scope cleaning equipment design. We specialize in prototyping and sample making to ensure that the customer is 100% satisfied with our design. Madison Polymeric always produces first article parts when we manufacture a new product to ensure manufacturing produces the exact same part as the sample previously submitted to our customers.

DIE CUTTING FOAM
Die cutting foam is a cost-effective way to create useful geometries out of all types of polyethylene and polyurethane foam. Madison Polymeric Engineering is equipped to handle the full spectrum of customized foam die cutting.
Our 150,000 sq. ft. production facility is equipped with 9 different die cutters, including simple manual clicker presses, heat seal presses, large platter-fed conveyor machines, and semi-automatic fed die presses.
Since die cutting foam involves compressing the foam, a certain amount of distortion is to be expected. Die cutting is ideal for foam not more than 6″ to 7″ in thickness. Our design team will work with you to determine the best materials for your project.
WATER JET CUTTING
Water jet cutting offers you a unique opportunity to create custom products quickly and inexpensively.
Unlike die cutting, water jet cutting doesn’t require manufacturing a die, and it doesn’t distort the material because there’s no compression in the cutting process.
We’ll often create your sample with water jet cutting to let you examine your part’s effectiveness.
SPECIALIZED PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT
Die cutting and water jet cutting are just a few of the many specialized production services we offer. You have a variety of options for your foam or soft plastic product.
