Engineering services at Madison Polymeric Engineering are driven by our three mechanical engineers in the company who help our customers with product and packaging design. When it comes to packaging design we use a family of cushioning curves to help us select the proper type, density and thickness of foam to protect products throughout the shipping cycle. You can find these cushioning curves listed on our materials page which you can download for your records.
Our Engineering department uses 3-dimensional CAD to design new medical products and new packaging applications. We can design to drop test and vibe specifications and we suggest that our customers let us know which specifications are required so that we can certify our package design.
When it comes to engineering a part or product we are dedicated to obtaining as much application information as possible to marry product design and the selection of material of construction to ensure a functional design. There are no bad materials, just bad applications.
