Die Cut Foam Packaging & Kiss Cutting
MPE also excels in “Kiss Cutting” which is a method where we can partially cut through the foam part and leave a small section of foam attached. The die is calibrated to cut through just the top layer and not into the bottom layer. This technique is primarily used when a part has a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) as part of the application that is being manufactured.
